Since Olivier Rousteing took over the French haute couture house Balmain, the transformations come one after another.
The designer is especially known for his quirky creations and his universe really characteristic at the house Balmain.
However, the old ESMOD Paris student isn’t only popular for his designs. In fact, Rousteing knew from the beginning how to be surrounded by the good persons, influential celebrities that bring him fame and consideration in the fashion industry and elsewhere.
Among them, the Kardashian-Jenner squad, they are close friends and true inspirations for Olivier Rousteing.

Olivier Rousteing is one of these designers that extol the diversity during his fashion shows. He makes wear his creations by white and also black models; he likes to call his models the “Balmain Army”.
Last new for the house Balmain, virtual models. They’re 3 of them, Margot, Zhi and Shudu and they have everything of true muses! Once again, the team Balmain made things right with these 3 models that represent the diversity that Olivier Rousteing wants to promote. This innovation for Balmain was born thanks to the collaboration with an American fashion photographer, Cameron James Wilson, lover of video games and virtual reality. The photographer looks into the situation of virtual character to create real models thanks to some software programs.
These three models embody the French house values and appear already proudly on the social Medias of the brand to highlight the creation of Olivier Rousteing. They help the brand to tie the digital world more and more important nowadays with the fashion industry always more innovative.
